A Building Approval is an official approval issued by the State Government and allows you or your contractor to proceed with construction or remodeling project on your property, whether a residential or commercial property.

A Building Plan Approval is necessary before construction on a site can commence. A Building Plan Approval ensures that the building complies with building laws and codes as well as helps to prevent people from carrying out illegal or Sub-standard constructions or structures.

• 3 years recent Personal Income Tax
• A Survey plan
• Letter of undertaken from COREN Engr.
• Physical planning site analysis report plan (SARAP) (for both Residential and Commercial Properties)
• Environmental impact analysis report (EIAR) (for Commercial Properties)

You cannot use tax clearance from other state. But you can apply for your building plan approval by making a payment to account (Development fee).
